Functional Medicine – understanding the fundamental imbalances in cellular function that result in symptoms and manifestations of chronic disease, with an emphasis on restoring basic balance in the body using nutrition, lifestyle, stress management and medications if needed.  A wide variety of chronic illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, asthma, migraines, autoimmune problems, arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression can be significantly improved using this functional medicine approach.

Stress Management and integration of mind-body-spirit in healing.  There is no way to disconnect our experiences, feelings, thoughts and emotions from our physical condition.  All health problems can benefit from an integration of understanding the effects of the mind on the body and vice versa.
