Cervical dysplasia is a potentially premalignant transformation and abnormal growth (dysplasia) of cells on the cervix. Complementary and alternative medical treatment uses the Escharotic treatment for cervical dysplasia. The use of escharotic is based on a centuries-old principle that certain plant and mineral extracts could be used to treat topical skin lesions. To start the Escharotic treatment protocol the patient must first make an initial appointment with Deena Beneda, ND to have a full evaluation and determine if the Escharotic treatment is appropriate for them. The Escharotic treatment is a twice a week for 5 weeks for a total of 10 treatments. The length of each treatment is approximately 30 to 45 minutes. In addition, to the treatment patients are required to take supplements and follow a dietary protocol throughout the treatment. As with any therapy you should consult with your health care provider before starting any treatment. For the complete article and references to the above article please click here.
